Board DescriptionLord of the Gears: Enhanced The many races inhabiting the lands of J.R.R. Tolkein's Middle Earth* have finally had it up to their ears (pointed, hairy, or flat) with each other, and are going to battle it out until only one is left. Gameplay Notes for Enchanced scenario: Icons represent the strongholds for various races of Middle Earth. Each stronghold has a defensive (6 v 8 dice) and an offensive (7 v 6 dice) advantage. Strongholds also grant a +2 factory bonus on self per turn, but have a maximum unit count of 25. Fortifies: Two fortifies per turn are allowed to any connected territory, and players are allowed to return to attack after fortifying. Gameplay Notes for Simulord scenario: Icons represent the strongholds for various races of Middle Earth. Each stronghold has a defensive (55% v 85%) and an offensive (70% v 70%) advantage. Strongholds also grant a +2 factory bonus on self per turn. All other borders are default (60% v 75%), and fatigue sets in at -5% attack value every 10 orders.
